What is the warranty?

All Windshield Skin® products—whether 8mil or 12mil—are backed by the same 1-year prorated warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship and ensures the film performs as expected when properly installed. If any issues arise within the first year, we’ll work with you to provide a replacement at a prorated cost based on the time of registration.

How much is professional installation?

While we do not mandate pricing for our dealers, you can expect installation labor costs to be around $150- $250. 

Does Windshield Skin® affect my sensors?

We’ve put extensive effort into developing a material that is optically clear and sensor-safe, ensuring it won’t interfere with the advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) or any built-in windshield sensors your vehicle relies on.

How does it perform with windshield wipers?

While Windshield Skin® is a wearable product and may show light wiper haze over time (years), its built-in hydrophobic properties help minimize wiper use and keep your view clearer for longer. If you notice the hydrophobic effect starting to fade, that’s a great time to use a Windshield Skin® Maintenance Wipe to refresh performance and extend the life of your film. 

What is the life expectancy?

Windshield Skin is designed to last 1–5 years depending on maintenance and driving habits—daily drivers typically see 2–3 years of protection, while "Garage Queen" vehicles can reach up to 5 years.
