  • Contaminants such as bird droppings, insect residue, salt spray, oils, and road debris should be removed promptly to prevent staining or etching into the film.

  • If the surface becomes marked by bug acids, bird droppings, or minor wiper abrasion, the film can be restored with gentle heat treatment (such as IR lamp, heat gun, or hair blow dryer).
