The Windshield Skin® kit for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G-Wagon) is a pre-cut sheet of optically clear windshield protection film, shaped to fit your factory windshield with no cutting on the glass. The G-Wagon's tall, upright windshield takes rocks and debris head-on, and this film absorbs those impacts so your glass does not. When it wears, you replace the film instead of a costly OEM windshield. Fits 2019 to 2026 G-Class. Available in 6 mil, 8 mil, and 12 mil.

Fit note for the G-Wagon: Our Vehicle-Specific Kits are intentionally cut approximately 1/8" to 1/4" inside the edge of the glass. This lets the film adhere properly and helps prevent edge lifting over time. If you want edge-to-edge coverage, you can choose the Universal Kit and trim it to fit yourself, though we still recommend leaving a small gap around the perimeter for the best long-term adhesion and performance.

For the G-Wagon we recommend 12 mil (XP12), our maximum protection. Its flat, vertical windshield takes debris directly, the glass is expensive to replace, and many owners drive off-road. For mostly city driving, 8 mil (SS8) is a strong choice. All three thicknesses share the same optical clarity, install process, and warranty, so thickness is about impact resistance, not visibility.
